About Wham Stadium
Known officially as the Crown Ground and formerly as the Interlink Express Stadium, the Accrington venue opened in 1968 and holds 5,450. Four sections enclose the pitch: the Jack Barret Memorial Stand running half the pitch length with the dugouts, the covered Clayton End home terrace, the Whinney Hill side where the old Cowshed terrace gave way to the 1,100-capacity Eric Whalley Stand in 2019, and the uncovered Coppice End for up to 1,800 away supporters. The record crowd of 5,397 came against Derby County in the 2019 FA Cup fourth round.
