About Vantelin Dome Nagoya

A geodesic dome completed in March 1997, the ballpark gave the Chunichi Dragons an enclosed, all-weather home in Nagoya. The roof allows play through humid Aichi summers and cold winters, and the artificial turf field is ringed by seating for roughly 36,418 spectators, a figure that rises to about 49,000 in concert configuration. It was known simply as Nagoya Dome until a naming-rights agreement changed the branding. A single group-stage game of the 2024 WBSC Premier12 was staged here alongside touring music acts and other indoor events.
