About Turner's Cross
Owned by the Munster Football Association, which acquired the Curragh Road ground in 1929, Turners Cross had earlier hosted rugby and Gaelic games. Redevelopment from the early 2000s turned it into one of the few fully covered, all-seated venues in Ireland, its four stands named after Donie Forde and Joe Delaney alongside the St Anne's and Derrynane Road sides. Capacity is 7,485. Cork City have been based here since 1986, apart from a spell in the early 1990s, and agreed a twenty-year deal in 2022. The record attendance is 12,000, set in 1991.
