About Truist Point

Groundbreaking took place in 2018 on a downtown block bounded by Elm, English, Gatewood and Lindsay streets, and the first game followed on 2 May 2019 when the High Point Rockers beat the Sugar Land Skeeters. Known as BB&T Point at the outset, it took the Truist Point name in June 2020 after the merger of BB&T and SunTrust Banks. Carolina Core FC added football to the calendar from 2024.
