About Toyota Stadium
Built in Frisco rather than central Dallas, the ground opened in August 2005 as one of the earliest soccer-specific venues in Major League Soccer. Its original U-shaped bowl left the north end open for a permanent concert stage, an arrangement that never proved popular. A 55 million dollar upgrade completed in 2018 brought the National Soccer Hall of Fame inside the stadium itself. A far larger rebuild began in 2025, removing the stage, roofing the stands and enclosing the bowl. MLS Cup finals were staged here in 2005 and 2006.
Home club
