About Tim Hortons Field
Ivor Wynne Stadium was demolished to make way for this replacement on the same Hamilton site, which cost about $145 million shared between the city, Ontario and the federal government and opened in 2014. The playing field was reoriented north-south and widened to meet FIFA requirements as well as Canadian football dimensions, and it is laid with approved artificial turf. All 32 men's and women's soccer matches at the 2015 Pan American Games took place here. The Tiger-Cats and Forge share the ground, which was renamed Hamilton Stadium in 2024.
Home club
Forge FC is a Canadian professional football club from Hamilton, Ontario, founded in 2018 as a charter member of the Canadian Premier League.
