About The Hive

Work on the Canons Park site, formerly the Prince Edward Playing Fields in Edgware, began in 2003 for Wealdstone, but stalled when the backers went into liquidation; Barnet later took on the lease and finished the job, opening the ground in July 2013. An East stand faces a West stand seating 2,700, with a 1,890-capacity North stand given over to visiting supporters. London Bees, London Broncos and Tottenham Hotspur Women have all been tenants, and visiting national teams have trained here before matches at Wembley. The record crowd is 6,215, set against Brentford in January 2019.
