About Stade Pierre de Coubertin
Pierre de Coubertin, founder of the modern Olympic movement, gave his name to this Cannes ground, which opened in 1937 in the La Bocca district west of the town centre. The layout is multi-purpose, with room for roughly 9,800 spectators, and AS Cannes have long used it as their home. Nearly nine decades after its interwar construction it continues to serve football and other sport in the town.
