About Stade des Alpes

Set within Parc Paul Mistral, the ground cost 88 million euros and opened in February 2008 as the replacement for Stade Lesdiguieres. Its 20,068 seats ring a grass pitch of some 10,000 square metres, and rooftop solar panels generate more than 70 MWh each year. Football club Grenoble Foot 38 and rugby side FC Grenoble have shared the venue from the start, the rugby club adopting it as its main home from 2014-15. Five matches of the 2019 Women's World Cup were played here, the largest crowd 17,988 for Germany against Nigeria.
