About Stade de la Licorne
An unusually large transparent roof gives the Amiens ground its character. It opened in 1999 and took its first fixture on 24 July that year, the Trophee des Champions between Nantes and Bordeaux, and now seats 12,097. Lens borrowed the stadium for the 2014-15 season while Bollaert-Delelis was prepared for the European Championship. After a barrier gave way during a match against Lille, a fifteen-million-euro overhaul followed in 2018, with undersoil heating among the improvements carried out.
