About Southwest University Park

Populous drew this downtown El Paso ballpark, borrowing detailing from the region's historic buildings and in particular the city's Union Depot. Construction began in May 2013 and the 78 million dollar park opened on 28 April 2014, offering a 360-degree concourse, 24 suites, 500 club seats and party decks. Ballpark Digest named it the best new ballpark of 2014, fans voted it the best view in the minor leagues in 2018, and the Triple-A All-Star Game was held here in 2019.
