About Riisvangen Stadion

Built by Aarhus Municipality from 1936 to serve the growing northern districts of the city, the ground has passed from IK Skovbakken to Aarhus Fremad as its principal tenant. Its capacity of 5,000 is rarely tested: the record of 3,200 was set on 2 November 1997 during a Superliga fixture against Ikast fS. A wooden stand was erected in April 2018 and renamed the Faxe Kondi Tribunen the following year under a sponsorship agreement with Royal Unibrew. The municipality remains the owner of the site.
