About RAMS Park

Stuttgart practice asp architekten drew five levels above ground and four below for the Ali Sami Yen Spor Kompleksi, plus a retractable roof that was shelved. Excavation at Seyrantepe started in December 2007 and the arena opened in January 2011, replacing Galatasaray's cramped old home in Mecidiyeköy. The pitch was relaid with SISGrass hybrid turf in 2018. More than 10,000 rooftop solar panels supply the complex, and the arena has twice entered the Guinness records, once for a crowd roar measured at 131.76 decibels in March 2011.
