About Q2 Stadium

Privately financed at a cost of roughly $260 million and built on city land at McKalla Place in north Austin under a 20-year lease, the Gensler-designed venue broke ground in September 2019 and opened in June 2021. The first event was a United States women's international against Nigeria, three days before Austin FC's opening home MLS fixture. Its 20,738 seats have since taken in a Gold Cup semi-final, World Cup qualifiers and 2024 Copa América matches, alongside rugby sevens and concerts.
