About Pride Park
Derby County left the Baseball Ground for this £28 million stadium on decontaminated land east of the city centre, opened by Queen Elizabeth II on 18 July 1997 with Sampdoria providing the first opposition weeks later. The Miller Partnership's design set a detached main stand opposite a horseshoe of three sides, corners left infillable for expansion. Capacity is 33,597, a figure matched by the record crowd for England's win over Mexico in May 2001. The ground was branded the iPro Stadium between 2013 and 2016.
Home club
