About PreZero Arena
Opened in January 2009 at Sinsheim, a Baden-Württemberg town of only a few thousand residents, the 30,150-seat arena gave TSG 1899 Hoffenheim a Bundesliga-standard home and remains the largest football ground in the Rhine-Neckar region. Work began in 2007 at a cost of around 60 million euros. First called the Rhein-Neckar-Arena, it has carried a succession of sponsors' names since. The stadium staged matches at the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup and was converted for an open-air ice hockey game in 2017.
Home club
TSG 1899 Hoffenheim is a German football club from the small village of Hoffenheim in the state of Baden-Württemberg, an extraordinary example of a rural side rising to the elite.
