About Plough Lane

Wimbledon's return to its home district was completed in November 2020, when a 9,215-capacity ground opened on Plough Lane, close to the site of the club's original pitch. Known commercially as the Cherry Red Records Stadium, it replaced Kingsmeadow as AFC Wimbledon's home after a long campaign to bring senior football back to the area. Planning permission is in place to enlarge the ground towards 20,000 places, so the structure was designed from the outset with later expansion in mind.
