About Panasonic Stadium Suita

Financed largely through a dedicated fundraising body and then donated to the city of Suita, the ground rose between December 2013 and late 2015 at a cost of ¥14.085 billion. Takenaka Corporation built a roof whose trusses run in three directions, cutting steel use by roughly forty per cent. Its 39,694 places include Japan's largest hospitality box, and the building doubles as an emergency shelter. Solar panels and the country's first LED floodlights trim power demand. Panasonic acquired the naming rights in January 2018.
