About Nyewood Lane
Floodlighting at the West Sussex ground began with second-hand lamps from Wembley mounted on telegraph poles, replaced by proper pylons during the 1970s. Most of the 4,500 capacity sits under cover; a 367-seat stand was built in the summer of 2020 and a replacement roof followed that October. A suspected arson attack destroyed the clubhouse in August 2008, and a successor social club named Seasons opened in late 2009. A 3G pitch was laid in 2025. The attendance record, 3,642, comes from an FA Cup replay with Swansea City in 1984-85.
