About Neo Química Arena
Corinthians moved east to Itaquera in 2014, having commissioned this 48,905-seat arena after FIFA rejected Morumbi as a World Cup venue. Designed by Aníbal Coutinho, it presents a glass facade and carries an enormous LED screen across one end, above a hybrid ryegrass pitch. It opened the 2014 World Cup and later held the third-place play-off, when 68,727 set the attendance record. Olympic football followed in 2016, Copa América matches in 2019 and South America's first NFL regular-season game in September 2024.
