About Moss Lane

Altrincham have played on this Greater Manchester site since 1910, and the ground still mixes eras: two all-seater stands along one flank hold 1,323 spectators, while terracing runs behind the other three sides for an overall capacity of 7,873. A crowd of 10,275 on 28 February 1925 remains the record. Rugby league's Trafford Borough were tenants from 1989 to 1992, Manchester United youth and development sides now use the pitch, and a scrap metal firm bought naming rights in 2013.
