About MOL Aréna

The main stand dates from the early 1980s and was inaugurated for the 1985 Spartakiad; the municipal ground on Športová ulica in Dunajská Streda had opened for football in 1953. Between 2016 and 2019 every other stand was demolished and rebuilt, giving DAC 1904 a 12,700-seat arena meeting UEFA's four-star standard at a cost of about 22 million euros. MOL took the naming rights from the 2017-18 season, and the completed ground was selected for the 2025 European Under-21 Championship.
