Costing about 314 million dollars and opened on 3 July 2021, the ground anchors the Astor Park mixed-use development beside downtown Columbus and replaced Historic Crew Stadium. Thirty suites and roughly 1,900 club seats sit inside a bowl holding 20,371. The opening fixture, a 2-2 draw with New England Revolution, went ahead while parts of the site were still unfinished, and the first home win followed on 17 July against New York City FC. Naming rights passed to Scotts Miracle-Gro in November 2025, and nine matches of the 2028 Olympic tournament are scheduled here.
