About Juliska

A 28-million-koruna reconstruction completed in 2001 laid an all-weather athletics track meeting international standards; the club had left in 1997. The ground sits in the Dejvice district of Prague and staged its first Dukla fixture in July 1960, a Mitropa Cup win over Wiener SK watched by some 10,000 spectators. League football returned in 2007, and promotion to the top flight in 2011 forced further work, including undersoil heating and roughly 2,270 extra seats. A statue of Josef Masopust, European Footballer of the Year in 1962, was unveiled outside the stadium in 2012.
