About Helsingør Stadion

Promotion to the Superliga in 2017 forced hurried upgrades and a special dispensation to play at the club's old ground in Helsingør. The first top-flight fixture there, against Odense Boldklub on 24 July 2017, drew 3,984 spectators, and a record crowd of 5,308 followed weeks later when FC Copenhagen visited on 17 September. A replacement holding 4,000, a thousand of them under cover, was built in 2019 to succeed the stadium used during that Superliga season.
