About Estadio Pensativo

Two clubs share the ground in Antigua Guatemala: Liga Nacional side Antigua GFC and Santiago de los Caballeros of the women's first division. Three matches in the 2011 CONCACAF U-17 Championship qualifying round were staged here, involving Panama, Honduras and the hosts. Upgrade work completed in 2020 raised the facilities to the standard required for CONCACAF fixtures and for Guatemala national-team games, and capacity grew from 9,000 to its present 10,000 shortly afterwards.
