About Estadio La Granja

Curico's municipal ground began with room for just 4,000 spectators and has been enlarged repeatedly: roughly 1,200 extra seats in 1985, a rise to 6,000 in 2004, then a 2010 reconstruction that retained only the west stands while adding seating, an LED scoreboard, a VIP lounge, broadcast booths and an athletics track to FIFA requirements. Renovation of those west stands in 2017 brought the total to 8,278. A record 8,981 watched a Primera B meeting with Universidad de Chile in January 1990, and group games of the 2017 South American Under-17 Championship were held here.
