About Estádio Gilberto Lopes

Lins lost its Estádio dos Eucaliptos when this municipally owned ground replaced it in 1962, the opening match ending in a 4-2 defeat for the home side against Botafogo. Capacity began at 11,000 seated spectators and had reached 15,770 by 2010 after upgrades demanded by the state federation, with new dressing rooms and broadcast positions added along the way. The record paying attendance stands at 10,296, and a further expansion towards 20,000 seats has been proposed.
