About Estádio Frasqueirão

Named after Maria Lamas Farache, the wife of a former club chairman, the Natal ground was built for around twelve million reais and opened on 22 January 2006 with a 1-1 draw against Alecrim. Unusually for the region it belongs to the club itself rather than the state. It holds about 18,000 and was laid out so that capacity can later be raised to 24,000, with state government funding of 210,000 reais covering the playing surface.
