About Estadi Montilivi

Girona's municipal ground opened in August 1970 on the Montilivi slope south-east of the city, laid out for roughly 17,000 spectators. Gently profiled single-tier stands ring the pitch, the covered main stand on the west side, and the east stand was rebuilt in 2009 and 2010. Promotion to the top flight in 2017 brought temporary structures that were later removed and then partly reinstated. The city council granted the club a thirty-year lease in March 2012.
