About EBB Stadium

Aldershot's Recreation Ground, set off the High Street, has staged football since 1927, with its south stand completed for the 1929-30 season. Four structures enclose the pitch: the North Stand mixing seats and terracing, the barrel-roofed East Bank, the veteran all-seated South Stand and the South West Terrace, together holding 7,100. An FA Cup replay against Carlisle United in January 1970 drew 19,138, the highest crowd recorded here. Sponsorship gave the ground its EBB Stadium title.
