About Deva Stadium
The England-Wales border runs straight through the site: the pitch lies in Flintshire while the car park, main entrance and postal address are in England. Built on Bumpers Lane over seven months from January 1992, it opened that August as the first English ground to satisfy the Taylor Report's safety recommendations. Capacity stands at 5,400, of which 4,500 is seated, and the record crowd is 5,987. Cheshire West and Chester Council owns the stadium, which carried sponsors' names from 2004 and is now home to Chester FC.
Home club
Chester FC is an English football club from the historic city of Chester, on the border with Wales.
