About Cambuur Stadion

Leeuwarden's east side gained this 10,500-capacity ground on 12 September 1936, and it served SC Cambuur for close to nine decades of league and cup football. The club played its final seasons there before relocating in 2024 to the newly built Kooi Stadion elsewhere in the city. Demolition of the old arena followed in late 2025, ending an association with the site that had run since before the Second World War.
