About Bayview Stadium

East Fife swapped the old Bayview Park for this compact ground on the Forth estuary shore at Methil in 1998. A single stand of 1,980 seats runs along one side of the pitch, with space left for later expansion that was shelved when plans announced in 2008 ran into financial difficulty. The grass was replaced by a 3G artificial surface before the 2017-18 season, and temporary seating pushed capacity to about 4,700 for a visit from Rangers in 2013. A timber merchant's sponsorship renamed it in 2023.
