About Aspmyra Stadion

Laid out on low ground south of Bodø town centre, the arena opened in 1966 as a municipal multi-purpose venue with a running track around the pitch. Bodø/Glimt bought it in 1997 and added modern south and east stands, but the municipality took ownership back in 2011 after financial and UEFA compliance problems. Expansion work between 2020 and 2022 raised the artificial-turf ground to 8,270 seats and category four standard for European group matches. A record 12,189 attended a cup tie with Viking in 1975.
