About Arena MRV

Land donated by the president of MRV Engenharia provided the site in the California district of Belo Horizonte, where the project was approved by the club's board in September 2017 and construction began on 20 April 2020. The ground opened on 15 April 2023 at an estimated cost of 100 to 120 million dollars and holds 44,892. The stadium occupies about 35 per cent of the 56,000-square-metre plot, with esplanade, gardens and green space filling the remainder. A synthetic pitch is now laid, and the attendance record of 44,870 dates from October 2024.
