About Allianz Stadium

Raised on the footprint of the demolished Stadio delle Alpi in the Vallette district, this 41,689-seat ground opened in September 2011 as the first modern club-owned stadium in Italy. Gino Zavanella's design cost roughly 155 million euros and recycled close to 40,000 cubic metres of concrete salvaged from its predecessor, while photovoltaic panels, district heating and rainwater recovery serve the site. Known simply as Juventus Stadium until a naming-rights deal in 2017, it has staged the 2014 Europa League final, the 2021 Nations League finals and the 2022 Women's Champions League final.
