Genclerbirligi SK is a Turkish football club from the capital, Ankara, founded in 1923, the year the Turkish republic was proclaimed. Nicknamed the Ankara Ruzgari (Ankara Wind) for their red-and-black colours, the club has spent much of its history in the Super Lig, twice won the Turkish Cup and is known for developing young talent.
